They are running AM drive news as a 2" adjacency to the top hour with
"20/20 traffic and wx together" on the hour.  Joe Zona, one of the leaders
in radio wx sounds so out of place with the rock-under.  (Also, he is very
underutilized by the team - he is hilarious when given a shot.  And he's of
the world's best dirty-limerick storytellers.)  By :03 it's tossed back to
the hosts quickly.  A variation on the old format.  The toughest thing to
stomach is Dana Hersey hyping "Yeah, now *three* hours of Dr. Laura in the
morning, yeah! Just sit back and listen...Yeah."  (How much else can you do
when listening to a talk show that is NINETEEN hours tape delayed?  And
this is a top 10 market's only talker?  Where's that fat lady?  The day
Gene Burns said goodbye at Dorick Hall at the State House was a turning
point, more like a hairpin turn.

In the <);--?....   department:  Marj already has cutesy names for Tai: 
Taister, Tikester, Mai Tai, Tai Boy.  Irony of the day:  They're slamming
Kathi Lee Gifford, cutesy queen of TV.  Au, Reeg, er.., Tai.
