LTAR

There was some discussion of DXing on LTAR today.  After some discussion
about E-skip, the DXing referred to was all AM-band DXing.  I thought
E-skip was something that works with VHF signals, like FM and VHF
television.  AM band DXing is simply a skywave.  Or am I missing
something?
