A couple of F-105 memories from another Grahm Junior College survivor:

1) In 1979, I can remember getting off the 7-Midnight shift at LNH, Laconia, NH
and getting together with another jock until 3 in the morning for the sole purpose
of listening to F-105. (off the cable) Not for the music. Specifcially for their
1/4 hour recorded promos. They were intense.

2) The greatest radio promotion I ever heard was when Dale Dorman (just after
leaving RKO) ran around Metro Boston for F-105 smashing peoples AM Radios,
and replacing them with FM Stereos. You literally heard Dale get out of the van
run into a listners house, and smash the radios (I think with a sledgehammer).
Exceptional theatre of the mind.

That along with early BCN Duane Glasscock (fake rerun of Boston Maraton for
Rosie Ruiz-sp) the most inspiring radio events I can remember.
