It was not made up.  I was a faithful fan of ER and I recall the 
character of "Lisa Catera" as well as the story at that time (I believe 
it was in the Hollywood Reporter) explaining how the character got her 
name. I thought it was kind of clever, actually.  The ultimate in 
product placement!
