I have not heard the segments from the CBS Evening News....but in my 
listening (when I can pick them up), I have not heard more National News 
replacing the local news.

It appears they are just doing the same mix of national/local as they were, 
just with fewer bodies....and maybe less quality.

For instance, the local sports are still being done locally, albeit not by a 
sports reporter.
