Soooo . . . a question from a Massachusetts expatriate: Does that imply that
NBC is unhappy with Channel 7?

I know that since the advent of cable the VHF/UHF distinction isn't as sharp
as it used to be, but in Boston, 4, 5 and 7 --- the old Big Three network
affiliates --- are the traditional "big contenders" when it comes to local
news.  Why on earth would NBC want to buy Channel 56?
