WBOS signal

I know everyone has been debating the signals of the AM's, but I was
wondering about the transmitter location/power for WBOS. Seems like
lately their signal has had a lot of picket fencing, hash, fading in and
out, etc..  I live in the Methuen area and always seem to remember a
decent signal.  Have they changed anything?  Seems the same both on my
original equipment Blazer Delco and on a couple of decent home rigs.
