Stations that don't suck

In the April 30 (?) edition of Rolling Stone
magazine, they have a list of ten radio stations
from across the country that "don't suck". Four
New England stations made this list:
(in alphabetical order)

WBRU Providence
WBTZ Burlington/Plattsburgh
WFNX Boston
WRSI Greenfield

I don't have the list in front of me, so I can't
say what the exact order was that the stations
were placed. From what I recall, a station in
Texas was first, WRSI was ninth, and a San Diego
station placed tenth. I probably would have never
even seen the list (along with the accompanying
article) if I hadn't heard it mentioned on WRSI
Monday afternoon. They were making a big deal out
of it, and went through the entire list on the
air. There was also some light-hearted bitching
that their simulcast partner WVAY was omitted.
